Upgrading Bottom Six and Toughness

Mutually beneficial trade as the Devils get a dman that they can protect alongside Severson while the Canucks upgrade their bottom six while shedding cap

Foegele is a prime candidate to get selected in expansion and could also benefit from a change of scenery. With the emergence of Geekie and Lorentz it allows the Canes to move Foegele.

Lauzon is the likely candidate to get selected in the expansion draft so Boston likely looks to move him instead of letting him walk for nothing. Lauzon adds some much needed toughness for the Canucks and the ability to penalty kill with the Canucks likely moving on from Edler.

With Robinson likely to get selected by Seattle in the expansion draft, they flip him for a dman in Juolevi. This trade makes more sense if Columbus decides to trade Seth Jones because that would allow them to protect Juolevi along with Werenski and Gavrikov. Robinson gives Vancouver speed in the bottom six and a cheap contract.

Vancouver sends a 2nd in 22' to Seattle to take on the final year of Roussel which allows them to protect Gadjovich.

After the departure of Lemieux, the Rangers look to add toughness. MacEwen fell out of favour with Travis Green this year so this trade makes sense for both teams.
