It’s funny to look back and see which trades really caused the biggest longest impact and that’s gotta be Petry. What looked horrible at the time has caused a long series of events that couldn’t possibly have been planned. I consider that the mcdavid trade had we not done it we would have been slightly better changing our lottery position and odds. It also led to Reinhart trade which sucked on every possible way can look at it also led to hall for larsson which I actually think oilers came out of much better than people still give credit for.
