Realistic 2C Plus Big Save Mentor For 40
With MAF, i think the wild could get upwards of a first for him with the goalie market so hot, as an Oilers fan I think our GM would be a 2nd and a 3rd for sure.

Right? Like if your the Oilers and Sharks, the time is now! But you just have to figure out if your wanting to keep a low profile at Trade Deadline, or go all out if your the Oilers.

Frankly the Oilers don't need Walker LOL! They got Ceci who is perfectly fine, He has 12 assists and a Plus 9 rating this season, on track for 23 Pts and a Plus 18 rating. He is the best value dman on our team. Frankly if I'm the Oilers I wouldn't trade him straight up for Sean Walker because 1 you don't have to like I said, 2 because he is still under contract for another year, and 3 he is playing like he did, when he was when he had his 1st year with the Oilers. Overall, Ceci is perfectly fine for us.

Maybe.. But You would need 75% retention on it. Keep in mind we have Broberg we are gonna call up for playoffs so probably looking for just a cheap 5-6 guy. 5.5 is not cheap unfortunatly.

They way Ceci is playing, we will be gladly keeping him for our run to the cup, He is playing like a 5 Million dollar Defense Heavy defenseman. Then again their isn't one bad oiler right now Lol.
With that being said, Ceci for Peeke straight up is a no, Peeke and a 2nd for Ceci, your talking now. You probably think I'm smoking but ask yourself:
Why would the Oilers move Ceci if he is better than Peeke, which right now he is. Especially when you have to fill that hole now by taking Ceci out.

God Dammit! I thought if no one mentioned Jensen's name, the Oilers would be the only one secretly looking at him LOL! :P
Definitely need waaaaay more than Kuzmenko and a 3rd. Jensen is probably gonna fetch the Caps a 1st and 3rd himself with him being under contract and being a SOLID top 4 dman with RIGHT SHOT! Right shot is so important, and he is under contract? Yea no, Caps would be stupid to trade him, but if they do, package him with Charlie Lindgren and you will get yourselves two firsts PLUS Kuzmenko.

Knock out the 6th and make the 2nd a 3rd and Oilers probably say yes. I think the important think to remember is the oilers won't pay a lot for an asset if he is a rental, Holland has been a firm believer in that since his first presser being introduced as Oilers GM. It's just not his style, look at Ekholm for example. If Holland makes this deal too I think it's an hour till the deadline trying to just finish up if he thinks we need one more piece. Ideally, a 5-6 Dman is priority 1 while Backup is number 2, and furthermore, a 3C is number 3. I think this easily gets slotted to 4th in line of priority for the Oil the way Foegele has been playing, and now that we are getting Perry.

Idk I find more value in what Blackwood being a better fit for the Oilers, I've been saying if Blackwood gets to work with Schwartzy and Skins I think he is that Starter that NJD envisioned him to be, but that's if he stays healthy. There both equal imo in value.

Oilers were really worried of losing him on Waivers to a bottom feeder team, he is NHL ready for sure, and is our AHL All-Star. He is huge too and has speed, a whole lot of it. He just is not cracking Edm's roster cause were too deep frankly, which sucks for him, but its true. I think he needs NHL minutes and you get a NHL Ready 3rd Line RW who is gritty, speedy, and a big body.
2nd Round Pick Valuation at the least.

But basically the independent panel of judges in ontario finished the independent findings and named 5 players of at least having knoweldge that would have been important to report, or something along those lines, 1 of them for sure is Alex Formenton which is why the Sens did not qualify them, and furthermore why no other team signed him. So call it 4 left.

My thought exactly, someone like Lavoie would be a high value asset for Toronto, and furthermore, he is someone the Oilers would move if it meant a top 6 winger.

Idk how many times I've said this, Carter Hart is still involved with that Hockey Canada Scandel. I WOULD NOT aquired him until he is cleared. He could be one of 5 Players that are gonna get named publicly that they were involved, if that is the case, his career is as good as done.

Yes this is fair, but I'm going off of Saravelli's word here, he says it could become more of a possibility because of not having to spend assets on fixing what Perry and Holloway will...
This is why I worry a buyout is detrimental to the future success of the club, and if the cost is only a 1st and a third instead of two firsts, why not?
Besides when you think about it, Draisaitl, and Bouchard are looking to extend this summer, which will probably be about just under 25 Million in cap itself between the two.

Leafs would love Lavoie cause their bottom 6 sucks and he would make their roster easy peasy, and he is a second round pick equivalent. Like I said though, Retention important here. Minni could get involved if retention was a factor.

The contract won't be an issue for the caps, just because everyone has reported that Backstrom is as good as done. As long as its less than 9, I think the caps sign it all day.

honestly fair, Imagine if you acquired both though, Replacing backstrom was what I was getting at, a lot of people think hes done. But your right, they also need to get another Dman, Caps are back I would say, but imagine that cost. Holy heck that would be right up there for the trade of the decade thus far.

Thats fair, I had it from anywhere in the 7.75 to 8.5 range, anywhere there is acceptable imo for the caps, he is the backstrom replacement.
