Trades
1.
MIN
  1. Jensen, Nick
  2. Kuznetsov, Evgeny
Additional Details:
Guerin and Evason have made it clear through trades and roster adjustments that they want players who give effort consistently and are willing to play well in both zones of the ice and that's not really Kuznetsov. Basically I'm not convinced Kuznetsov is the type of player Guerin is looking for, but there is no denying the fact that he would easily become our most skilled center. Jensen is included for cap purposes, plus he's "oNe Of Us".
WSH
  1. Dumba, Matt
  2. Rask, Victor
Additional Details:
Dumba is a great player for the most part but he is prone to some boneheaded mistakes. Ultimately I think he's a very good 2nd pairing guy, but at this point of his career it's far-fetched to believe he can repeat his season(s) prior to his torn pec in 18-19. He'd be a great addition to the Caps blue line behind Carlson. Rask is included for cap purposes.

Washington should accept. Rask can still produce, and they lose some of Kuznetsov's baggage. Add a pick if they're extra salty.

That's how I felt, if either team adds it's probably the Wild but not much. I still don't love the idea of having Kuznetsov, but we need a center so desperately and there seems to be a good fit between us and the Caps in terms of trade partners.

This is an interesting comment, that I agree with, and most Wild fans would probably disagree with. Rask IS still productive as a middle 6 and has less baggage than Kuzy.

There’s no denying Kuzy is the better player but you’ve gotta think twice about his off ice antics.

@TanSor, I think we need to start thinking of Rossi as the 2/3C. I know he’s coming off his COVID layoff, but there is very little reason to think he puts up less than 40 pts.

Kuznetsov is iffy one IMO.
Wild might be desperate enough for 1 or 2 C to do it.

With Schultz still there, not sure Caps do this.
They need FW help more than a D
