So you just witnessed a trade deadline where Kyle Palmieri and Nick Foligno netted first round picks and you think THAT is an overpay for Hertl? Any Hertl trade starts with a 1st and a good prospect.

Avs won't be retaining. Especially not on that offer. They'll want every $ of cap space to pay with.

Not only that but the value sucks too. That’s an awful trade for COL.
