I just chose Winnipeg to make the point. Trade can happen with literally any team that wants an LHD. Don't care where he goes, but moving Rielly makes sense.

I don’t think the Jets would be that interested in Rielly and that bottom six is pretty weak

i think with the salary cap staying flat and our core's continual inability to be engaged in the playoffs and prove they can carry a team, we really should move marner to 1. shakeup the team and 2. stop handcuffing the roster with cheap/bad depth.

look at the 3rd/4th lines of most of the teams still in the playoffs rn, they're stacked with good young players that make way more than league min

brooks/thornton/simmonds/mikheyev/engvall weren't the answer this year

Absolutely. One of the big forwards needs to go as well just to free up some money for your other lines. Dubas really pulled a Chiarelli on them Cap wise.
