Im assuming Hamilton walks and im not going to speculate on a return in a trade. If they trade him its maybe a mid round pick and a B prospect so im not going to include it. If Hamilton does want to resign the canes 100% need to do it and this whole team gets ripped up.

Oh i agree completely. If the canes can't get coleman, i would have no problem just resigning Mcginn. If they go mcginn instead of coleman i might even look to go for Martinez instead of Oleksiak

I feel that is a very fair offer. A first, a good young roster player who wants a bigger role, and a good prospect. Forsberg has a year left on his deal and has had injury issues so the return is not what it would have been a couple years ago

Going for forsberg would be a really good move. It would bolster the canes offense even more than it does now. Plus forsberg would score a lot more as a cane than a pred. The preds leading scoring has mainly been josi and his point production has dropped. With the injury concerns that have surrounded forsberg this trade would be a fair offer. Whenever injury concerns are brought up for a player you will never get top dollar as we will most likely see in an Eichel trade soon.
