Description

Montreal has had bad winning luck lately, by that I mean they were thrown into the covid play ins and won losing out on what should have been a top 10 pick, potentially even Laf. Then this year have gone from what should have been 16th overall pick to 28th.

Things had of gone their way negatively on the ice they would have been much more serious contenders in 2 years, instead they likely have to try and get out of the middle of the pack by throwing those youth to the wolves and seeing what come out of it.

For the record, Bergevin won't do this. He will bring in veteran players to fill out the line up and likely even try to make a trade to 'improve' the team.

Dumping on Bergevin at exactly this moment in time comes across as both petty and ignorant.

He’ll likely get at least a nom for GM of the year this year, and possibly the win.

Poehling and Fleury both sign for 2x$750k.
