When I heard that Fitz was in on Ristolainen was when I was certain I wanted him to manage the rest of the Devils' rebuild. Ristolainen is a a guy who can play 25 minutes a night, and I think that people are too harsh on the guy considering he plays for the bane of talent in buffalo (praying for you eichel, just not to the rags haha).

Actually that’s a pretty fair trade. The Islanders pick is very late, and who knows where the second round pick will land next year? Risto is a horse, and I always felt that the Sabres have leaned on him too hard. I think he plays best when he’s playing 23 minutes a game, not 25 or 26 like the Sabres tend to make him to do.
