Savard or larsson would be great partners for heinola. However, I think the jets should try to go a bit bigger. Like a sanheim or Hamilton. Though I’d think long and hard before going after sanheim since Pulock is a UFA in a year and we should definitely take a hard run at him.

Ehlers cousin... that's True. 😉

If the Jets can sign Laine's childhood buddy (Luoto) and TNSE can hire Jacob Trouba's brother, then signing someone's cousin who can actually play is no big deal.

Personally I'm really nervous about Stanley being in the Top 4 next year, I'd much rather the Jets get another LD to play with Pionk and then have Heinola on the bottom pair. Stanley can rotate in

Honestly, me too. Most AC-GM's I've made I have added another Top 4 LD and I think that should probably be the goal in the off season as well. I just don't want Heinola to lose his spot as I think he is 100% ready to be a near full time NHLer. I don't mind the idea of having Stanley rotate through though.
