gonna need more for johnny, and i doubt the flames have much interest in tarasenko at this point (i’d love 2016 tarasenko but not 2021 tarasenko). Tkachuk starts with thomas+kyrou. There’s also no need for jones, so we’d prefer to keep monahan in that case

Steinberg confirmed the O'Brien rumor was false today. Your UFA contracts are all underpayments too (Hyman might be fair), and Flames are likely promoting a lot of young guys instead of bringing in random vets again

As Alfie said above, no need for Jones. Tkachuk and Johnny returns are really subpar too

We have no particular desire to acquire Monahan at all, so having him as essentially the only return for a Jones trade is egregiously bad for the Jackets.
