Hard pass from STL. Olofsson is a worse one-trick pony than Hoffman and I can't imagine a world where they'd swap Sunny for him.

I agree, a mid 1st and future 3rd plus a Bottom 6 forward for Dumba Is probably light. I think swapping the 3rd for a prospect would be more realistic. Jets have more prospect depth at D, but I think Buf would be looking for forwards, where the Jets pool is quite shallow.

Assuming Jones is traded, Risto would be in your top 4 and Pilut would be in the top 6. Reinhart is a much better player than the Jets likely get at 5. He has outproduced just about every 5 o/a pick over the last 15 years with the exception of Kessel and Elias Pettersson. A few of those chosen there have amounted to nothing in the NHL. (Dal Colle, Hayton, Juolevi) He would be your 1C at least for the next couple of years and then if you do find someone elite. He slots nicely into a 2C role
