Lauzon is worth a 2nd +

And Schmidt is not even close to worth that, he’s declined defensively each of the last 2 years and was never great defensively to begin with, soft, he’s Mike Reilly with a bad contract. That D is even softer than last year and that’s what cost them in the playoffs.
If you are taking Schmidt they are taking Moore and you don’t resign Reilly, you go get a big nasty.

IMO Boston would be fine just resigning and bringing in Hamilton.

I would love that even more, only problem is Sweeney is the one who traded Hamilton which he wasn't happy about, so I don't think Hamilton wants anything to do with Boston if Sweeney's in charge

Wonder if Sweeney can pull off a trade with Vegas for piietrangelo as long as Vegas locks up Hamilton. Both win that way. Or take a D off a team that wants to land Dougie.
