You have "retain $2M of Vladimir Tarasenko's contract" on the wrong side of the ledger in your Team Explanation above; it should be on the "Anaheim gives" side. We need compensation for that, and in any event, St. Louis has to give us something for trading him to us in the first place. The underlying exchange of an actual NHL player (Henrique), whatever you may think of him, for an unsigned Russian prospect and a second that won't turn into an actual NHL player until 2025 at the earliest, if at all, isn't to our advantage.
