Normally the team taking on the cap dump player gets extra compensation so I guess thats the 2nd? So then its Monahan for Marner 1 for 1... ye nah

I don't see how this makes sense for the Leafs. They lose a top line winger to Monahan as their 3C? Then to boot they take on Lucic's terrible contract and to do so only receive a 2nd as compensation? If you want Marner, you better start with Tkachuk.
