yeah OR other teams can just sign your FA instead of giving away their draft picks to "help" TB out.
No one is chasing after Gourde or Palat. Much like you, they'd rather sign Goodrow.

Palat is a materially different player than Goodrow and somewhat Gourde .. maybe the "Tampa envy" is blinding your judgment

This is not sound reasoning for a better pick than the player is worth. If Ottawa had three 1st round picks, would you ask for a 1st because they had two others left?

Gourde was a cap dump trade for the last 12 months, and with four seasons remaining on his contract, and at 29 and headed towards his decline years, that hasn't changed.
