Two weeks ago we were in the Stanley Cup finals. Now we are looking at a very different team.

Weber: Most likely done. The possibility that he never plays another game is real. Whether he retires or is placed on LTIR we lose our captain, but do gain 7.8 mil in cap space.

Drouin: Lots of speculation as to what is going on here. I wont guess, bottom line is, it is unlikely he plays for Montreal again.

Price: Will Seattle select Price in the Expansion Draft? I personally have no idea, first thought was there is no way the Kraken would take on that contract......but now I'm not sure.

Danault: It looks like MB is prepared to let him go to market.... does he make his way back?? I don't think so.

So what to do with all that cap space?

With the Jones trade, this is based on no extension at time of trade. Montreal will have a season to convince him to stick around. If he doesn't this could turn out to be a massive
overpayment for 1 season of Jones.
