Enroth or Despres gets taken.. because who the hell else? I'll go with Despres as he has far more upside, but you guys may have a better opinion

Leaving plenty of cap to sign our young guns on the last year of their contracts, and for trades where we can take on some cap for a much better return.

Ritchie and Rakell interchangeable on 1st and 3rd lines

I don't think Vegas would take Despres. With his concussion issues he might not ever play again. Too much uncertainty by taking him. But besides that everything else looks good to me. Vats going before the draft for a prospect is almost a guarantee if he isn't gone this deadline. Bieksa waives or gets bought out. And we will try to dump Stoner's salary somehow.

I know Fowler is playing better but doesn't that mean he will command more $?
He is next up at UFA, his value could not be higher right? Not trying to talk anyone out of it but with Montour and Theodore knocking they have the size/grit.
Wouldn't it make more sense to move Cam?

Not really. Cam is playing so well he isn't the type of player you move. You hope guys like Theo and Montour get to his level before this season. Now with the level he's on he isn't the type of guy you move. With Stoner and Bieksa both coming off the books at the same time you can find the likely 3 mill it will cost to resign Fowler over his current deal.

You think Fowler resigns for 7 mill per year? Lindholm isn't making 6 so I can't see Bob offering Fowler anything more than his deal.

Yes he will command more money. But that's going to be because he's worth more money, because he is playing really well.
I don't really see your point on size/grit though, because that's never been a big part of Fowler's game, or Vatanen's. However I see Theo especially, but Montour too as the offensive Dmen who would make Vatanen very expendable. Vats is also on a very trade-friendly contract helping with his value, whereas Cam will be viewed as a rental on his last year of contract, making it difficult to deal him (think Kevin Shattenkirk)
