What Hollands path shows:
- Cossa not there at 20 so move down to grab a great forward according to models and recoup draft capital
- barrie signs
- keep a healthy amount of cap space
- sign glenndening
- sign hyman

My additions:
- Koskinen deal
- kassian deal
- goalie sitch with koski gone.
- Neal buyout
- Actual draft selection: Sasha patsuyov ( has steal written all over him according to scouts and NHLe models)

Forwards look pretty damn solid with a good mix of all kinds of players. The Dcore is an anchor but, this is directly linked to acquiring Keith and going with Holland's "Barrie is a Larsson replacement" shtick. I can see adding a defensive guy on the left side instead of russel/samorukov but not sure yet who that can be.

In net it is a risk, but with koskinen eating $2million and the amount of money on d, I made the decision to focus this yr on fixing the forward group. giving a young guy some extended opportunity in the show might prove to be beneficial, if not then a trade or a late FA add on the cheap will be needed. The younger goalie's that can be LT solutions has dried out of the market due to Holland not getting ahead of the firesale so need to eat the cake he made.

It addresses the need for depth and a 3C but the goalie will have to wait for another window of opportunity. The d is awful but here is hoping bear returns to form and, bouchard, broberg,and smorukov take big steps to be a major safety net for Holland's cap mismanagement. With any luck,the oiler should be able to outscore their problems in a very weak pacific division. Needless to say, Holland has made the job more difficult than it needs to be
