Trades
1.
ANA
  1. 2017 6th round pick (ARI)
Additional Details:
SJ might be looking for a back up goalie for Jones. Bernier is expandable due to all the goalies in the farm system ANA has. Trade is possible to happen. I don't see us getting anything better than a 6th round pick for him.
2.
COL
  1. Kase, Ondrej
  2. Vatanen, Sami
  3. 2017 1st round pick (ANA)

A player like Landeskog would be better for Anaheim and easier to get. I think you've overvalued Duchene in this trade, Sakic is asking for a top 4 D, prospect, and a 1st rounder for Duchene, but he's unlikely to get that. Sakic probably just said to get the ball rolling at a high price. Anaheim doesn't need another center they need a LW, Landeskog fits the active grinding style the Ducks play and has a better contract. I don't think you'll need much more than Vatanen to get Landeskog, especially since the Larsson-Hall and Jones-Johanson trades have bloated top 4 D's trade value.

Agreed. Though Duchene's speed is intriguing. Duchene has played with Getzy on team Canada and has a little chemistry and it would release the pressure from Perry and Rakell. Either way, I think getting Landy or Duchene will help out this teams offense and we get to keep our young stud D-men.

Just gives them another 1st round pick and helps out their D. Though it doesn't do much. Hmmm. They want a D-man and more draft picks to rebuild. I say this helps them a lot.

ANA has no need for a LW with Rakell, Cogliano, Ritchie and Crammer making a solid left side. Technically, we need a 3C and our better players to pull their fingers out (*cough* Perry *cough*). Vermette will likely be the best piece available to LV at the ED. He'll need to be replaced and with Getzlaf and Kesler both ageing, Duchene would make an excellent replacement. Duchene isn't a 3C, but having him would allow the likes of Kesler and his more defensive-minded line to shift down and play the 3rd line.

Rakell - Getzlaf - Perry
Ritchie - Duchene - Kase
Cogliano - Kesler - Silfverberg

As a Duck fan, it really doesn't do much for the AVs. They'll be looking for LHD, not a RHD and they'll definitely be asking for the likes of Theodore. I suspect the AVs will get much better offers from other teams. Duchene is a beast.
