Not even close for Jack Eichel, Odds of Eichel even playing this year is pretty small. And Marc Staal isn't signing that cheaply he'll get a 1 year $2,500,000 offer probably from Detroit.

Why would the odds of him playing this year be very small. Per his agent he has already started skating and working out again

Perhaps because the herniated disc in his neck hasn't been addressed yet. Things are no different right now then when he missed all that time. He's eventually going to have to have surgery to take care of that bulging disc in his neck.
