Retention doesn't really mean anything for Ottawa. Certainly wouldn't over add to get it in a strome deal.

Also yes retention means something for Ottawa, Melnyk is still the owner yes? He will absolutely give more return for less cash spent.

That definitely beats Florida's offer. Georgiev is an NHL goalie, Levi isn't a sure thing. Also, that pick is, what, 10 spots higher than the Panthers' pick will be.

That's still, for me, low for Reinhart. If I was the Rangers, I'd do that in a heartbeat. I'm really glad the Panthers got Sam and that they got him for so cheap.

Yea, if that is is all it cost for him, wtf. Also Buffalo needs everything, they could have sent Buch and Georgiev for Reinhart and its a better return than the Florida package. I guess Adams was focused only on futures.
