Not enough for Dvorak. Mysak or Tuch would have to be added at the very least.

Too much for Dvorak... Go and sign Wennberg at a cheaper deal or go get Thierney in Ott or go get Getzlaf for 2 year... Until KK can be a solid 2C.
Great at D with the Addition of Montour & Savard.,, right price IMO.

So you want Arizona to trade you a top-6 center/forward in return for three futures that won't actually reach the NHL until Christian Dvorak's current contract expires? Wouldn't they do better to use him for the next four years instead of having to replace him for that period AND wait for the picks to mature into real players? Would trading Jeff Petry for three similar futures make sense?

I understand this point but I don’t think it’s the same. Arizona is clearly selling off and trying to rebuild. They may want some prospects instead of just picks but I do think Arizona wants futures

Mysak is a future. Brook is a future. Guhle is a future. Norlinder is a future. Kiss-my-ding-off is a future. Those draft picks are over the horizon.

No sane GM is going to trade away four years of a top-6 forward and wait four years for the return. You wouldn't trade Jeff Petry away and wait four years for the pay-off, would you?

It has nothing to do with "rebuilding"; it has to do with whether or not you have an internal replacement for the player you're trading away to take his place (even temporarily or inadequately) while the "futures" mature.
