That is not a rumor. That was a guy on a podcast speculating what a trade might look like for Korpi while discussing possible goalie options for EDM, followed by a disclaimer that it was merely his opinion and was not based on anything from the clubs.

Only way Turris comes back to Ottawa this year is if the Oilers buy him out and we sign him at league minimum.

We've already found veteran presence for the bottom pair (Holden, Del Zotto), so Russell doesn't do anything for us.

All in all, Ottawa declines

I listened to the podcast. I know exactly what he said. The only thing you got right is the Oilers talked to CBJ about Korpi. Ot a rumor, a fact. The rest is him speculating what it might look like, again followed by his disclaimer saying that was merely his opinion and not coming from the clubs.
