Obviously Zibanejad isn’t coming here, but if he goes to Vegas and we get Krebs & a 1st, then I’d say that’s a good deal- as it would end up being:
-Krebs
-Kravtsov
-NyR 1st
-VGk 1st
-StL 2nd
-Wpg 4th

Not quite what I’d like, as the 1sts would likely be around 20th & around 30th….. but in a deep ‘22 draft i could accept them as parts 3 & 4 of the deal

You're not getting Krebs+1st for one year of Zibanejad.

No reason it has to be only 1 year
And I’m not the one who initiated the Krebs + a 1st idea
Although, since it’s very likely to be a late 1st, i actually think that’s fair value (especially is Zibanejad extends)

Except VGK can't afford to keep Zibanejad if he costs over $8M. They're pretty cap strapped bunch.

And I did read it all. And that was the thing that sounded most off to me.

Can't see VGK being interested if Krebs is involved. He's their top prospect now that they've traded Glass, and they need guys on their ELC for monetary reasons.
