Description

straight up last year the team put jumbo and galch in the top 6, while i love jumbo he uh, was pretty slow and maybe a few years too old soup if nothing else is fast as ****, and defensivly pretty great good mix may allow matthews and marner to focus more on offense.

Kerfoot tavares and willy have had great success together before, and that lets there be 2 centerman on that line to help win faceoffs, that line is also defensivly much improved over the last 3 years so its no longer a weak point for that line.

The bottom 6 is probably gonna be a jumble of people for most of the season, i have no idea where ritchie will fit in, i have no idea if Kase is gonna be healthy, i know brooks played well, i know spezza played well and ive heard nothing but good things about Kampf as a defensive centerman. Bunting, robertson Ho sang and like half a dozen others can slot into it.

at 1.25 million hes just a little too limiting for the teams ability to swap players in and out, just a bit too much. hes probably going on waivers at some point or just being left in the minors.

I can see mikheyev and bunting splitting 1st line until someone owns the spot. Really hope mikheyev can work on his offense

He has incredible speed and power. If he can some how figure out how to not shoot at the goalies chest he could very well have a breakout season

As much his stick length is a key in how he play maybe changing up like Tavares will help offense. His speeded and eagerness with take a hit but his reach

its certainly not a 100% thing, but we had jumbo there for 20 games last year and he looked pretty good for his age, and frankly the top line is carried by the other 2 as is, Soup has some of the highest upside of any player we have right now in his speed and defensive ability, if he can figure out how to shoot even a little bit, hes a deadly machine. And when hes getting passes from mitch marner or auston matthews i think he will learn quickly, and hey if it doesnt work Bunting Kerfoot Kase Ritchie or Robertson can fill in there as a temp position, its the only line that really needs no superstar help, or even really good help, which is why i think we can put soup there.
