Their C depth is Gourde, Wennberg and Geekie. McCann, Johansson, Järnkrok, Appleton, Blackwell and Bastian are all wingers at the NHL level. Sure, they can try to move one of them into the middle, but Kerfoot is a ready made center. Appleton is likely #4 on either the RW or LW depth chart. LW's ahead of him are Schwartz, McCann and Tanev. RW's ahead of him are Eberle, Donskoi and Järnkrok. He isn't a centre so he is likely a 4th liner which should make him expandable. Kerfoot can fill in nicely as Seattle 3C behind Gourde and Wennberg. Just a hockey trade that helps both teams IMO.

Dermott is a depth dman and is not worth a 3rd.

Kerfoot for Appleton? Ehhh, I can kind of see why this could work. Kerfoot helps the center depth, but I'd argue Appleton is the better player with more potential upside at the moment. Plus he's currently cheaper, so I'm torn on this one.

Honestly, I teams should stay away from Manson. He's really turned into a terrible defenseman and no team should send any major futures, but I think ANA would accept.

I think Manson can become remotivated on a playoff team that actually has some hope. Would you wanna go train, practice, and play for a team that will likely be in the basement again for the like, 4th straight year? I don’t think I would. He’s proven he’s a good tough shutdown dman, and he’s only 29. Not many players are done at 29.

Personally I've always thought Manson was a little overrated and benefited from playing with really good dmen. You could be right though, but who knows. I did a comparison on natural stat trick between him and Gudbranson from last season and Gudbranson was way better lol.
