We don’t need Kotkaniemi this season but next season we might. Winning an offer sheet is rare enough but then flip the player?

We probably wouldn’t sell him off even in the slightest of chance that we would flip him. Maybe as the base piece for an extended Forsberg, maybe. Still a small chance though.

If matched the original team has a restriction of 1 year. A winning OS team doesn’t have restrictions for a trade. To extend the player, it is January 1st.

Yeah, I knew the original team couldn't trade him and he couldn't be extended until Jan 1st but I also thought I heard somewhere that the new team couldn't trade him either. Guess not lol
