Best case scenario for the Blues would be to have Tarasenko play for them this season, show that he can be healthy again and rebuild some of his value.

And next year's salary is lot more reasonable (5.5 vs 9.5 this year)

Obviously, nobody is currently giving up enough value for the Blues to move him.

So yeah, I don't think Ottawa fans would be thrilled with the OP trade but most would still be cautiously optimistic
