Description

Upgrade the Benson - McLeod - Marody line to the NHL, start with their chemistry and let them play around for a while. Split them up eventually, but it seems like all 3 are poised to break into the NHL this year. We've already seen how good McLeod was, and since Benson's last stint (where was a fine bottom 6 guy as it was then) he's gotten much faster and more agile. I thought Marody was fine aswell when he played 2 years ago, and since then he's been one of the best goal scorers in the AHL.

I'd love for y'all to find someone who consistently put up a point per game in the AHL and wasn't an alright NHL player for at least a few seasons. Konovalov essentially put on a clinic in the rookie game against the flames despite letting in 2 goals, and has put up 3 great seasons in the 2nd best league in the world. He could pass Koskinen or Smith this year should one falter- he will get some games this year for sure with the idea of a 3rd goalie being carried by teams becoming the norm.
