Why would they give up a cost controlled top 6 player for an injured one making 10M?
Obviously Eichel is better than Krebs (by a lot), but the salary cap exists.

this is 22-23 so the cap will be 82.5M. that gives almost 1.7M in space to add 1 or 2 scratches

Though I do agree it would be very tight against the cap. Also I think Hague will get a bigger contract than 3x1.25

This guy gets it. We have no guys that outperform their contract. Also we’re not 100% sure Jack is ever fully healthy again. That’s why you don’t trade Krebs
