Description

Center depth is scary. If they wait until free agency to get a top 6 center there won't be any left. Basically relying on three elite wingers to carry the offense.
The Ullmark signing was horrendous. There is no cap room to make improvements because Sweeney signed a backup goalie for $5M/yr. They should have just used Swayman and Vladar as the tandem until Tuukka came back. I don't understand throwing precious cap space at a backup goalie.
If Bergy is done, the team is in real trouble moving forward. They might be able to pair Reilly and DeBrusk (RFA rights) in a trade for draft picks to be able to have the cap space to sign a guy like Hertl, but I doubt he even hits the UFA market.

Hope you're right. After seeing Krejci go and Rask not be the starter opening night I can see Bergy hanging them up. Rask should be back by IDK how that works with a rookie starter and Ullmark on a NMC contract.

Certainly if Bergeron wants to play likely with the Bruins even at a reduced cap. Bruins who have been the teams that managed the cap really well in the past might be looking at some issues.
IMO 3rd line Foligno wasn't worth 3..8m, and in this post is is DeBrusk worth 5m?
