I think every teams accept but not because a player is overpaid means they are bad
Byron should be in your top 9 easily and Hagelin is way better than Roussel

No interest in dumping Byron. He’s got 1 year left after this at 3.4M. His contract is really not an issue. Habs likely won’t be competitive next year anyways so don’t need to worry about saving every dollar. No point wasting a pick on dumping him. Would rather save that pick and use it or use it to help dump a player on a longer term contract.
