Habs will pass.. although Matheson has been pretty good.. I think his AAV + term still forces us to pay to get rid of him or take a long contract back.

Don't think there is enough in either of these deals for each team. LAK pulled a move like this last time, not sure they want to do it again but he could be a good TDL asset for them on the cheap and those picks they are giving could end up being a 2nd in return if they become sellers and retain 50%.

Kings had to retain 50% of Carter's salary to get that return.

Correct thats why I think its unlikely they buy Zucker. They only chance would be if they thing they can get some sort of return at the TDL like a 2nd if they retain him at 50%.
