    For the first time all year, I am not totally opposed to bringing back Hunwick OR Polak but do they BOTH deserve pay increases? no

    I think Hyman would make a little more then that like 2,800,00
    I think Brown would make more then that like around 3,000,000
    Maybe sign someone else then McElhinney

    Marner/Matthews/Nylander missing the playoffs, or getting swept, is an expensive price to pay. They are ready, the train is leaving the station. If you play Polak, one of the 3 worst D in the NHL, you deserve all the misery you get. That's not growth from within, that's gambling that you can hold your breath for a top 4 D to be drafted and developed before the rest of the team has moved on and left town.
