MTL takes it ARI doesn’t
Makes senses for MTL and EDM
But ARI needs a quality prospect (Broberg) and a 1st RD pick minimum

Lavoie is a bust. I saw him a dozen times in Halifax. He might play in NHL but I don’t see him being impactful at all and the only reason he plays in the NHL is because he was a first round pick and he’ll get his shot but he won’t make anything of it.

In his draft year, i had him in the 3rd/4th round. He constantly looks like a deer in the head lights. He got by on skill in juniors but I don’t see it translating at all. At this point, I wouldn’t trade for him period, for anything.

the guy just had a 5 point game in the AHL, wouldn't be dissing him just yet

Who cares that’s one game! Even with that 5 point night he’s still regressed from last year. I put far more weight into his entire body of work than 1 game. There’s no question he has skill, hence the 5 point night and a 1st round pick but he has no toolbox. I can see this one from a mile away. He’s a bust. If there is one prospect in the league that I’m most sure of and that I had to bet on either not making it or making it, I’m pretty sure it would be Lavoie. I just don’t see it at all….
