In a hypothetical world where Draisaitl asks to be traded somewhere else I'd say EDM is not moving the guy anywhere without their best or most valuable player coming back. Simply because there aren't many players as valuable as Draisaitl is in the world.

Kaprizov or Rossi is a must from Wild for example. Maybe even both.

It's more or less a losing game trading for such assets. You get a hell of a player but you tend go also lose so much it renders the whole thing pointless. Unless there's some major question marks involved, like with Eichel for instance.

That offer right there is far from enough. And financially not sustainable knowing the cap penalties looming in near future.

We'll counter with Kubalik and a 3rd for Brodin; sounds unfair? laugh

didn't think he was doing that great. Instead of being a sarcastic **** how about you explain and suggest what you believe is fair.

Maybe you take a look at how Flowers is playing recently, perhaps a little bit informed if you don't want a sarcastic response when you propose 1/2 retained on a top 10 goalie in the league for a cap dump a 3rd and 4th rounder.
