Large fan of Chychrun, and think he's going to return an excellent package for Arizona, but the Ducks aren't the team that should be doing it. This type of move is jumping the gun, massively.

Just re-sign Hampus and keep building the farm.

Ducks shouldn't do either trade. They aren't at that point in the rebuild where these moves would make sense.

This. (Except if a really good offer comes in or he wants way too much.)

Very true. I mean, I've said it a few times but:
-Trade Rakell
-Trade Manson if the right package is offered.
-Extend Hampus.
-Replace Eakins. They're doing well right now, but it's rare that he doesn't get out coached.
-Remove the interim tag from Soloman, or do some split duties with he and Martin Madden...whatever you do, DON'T promote Dave Nonis.
-Explore the UFA market this summer.
Forwards: (Dream) Gaudreau or Forsberg. (More realistic): Any of Palat, Namestnikov, or Nuke.
D-men: (Dream) Offer sheet Hague. (More realistic): Re-Sign Manson+Depth.
I feel like the SoCal market with these high-end young guys showing that they can be successful *should* make Anaheim an attractive place to sign, but that remains to be seen.

I love that we're competitive right now, and would hold off for a few more weeks and see if the healthy lineup can get us back to where we were, but the past 10 games have definitely shown the cracks that we have depth-wise. I just don't think that we can afford to see Rakell, Hampus and Manson all walk in free agency, or that it makes sense to overpay for Rakell, as much as I love him.

Couldn't agree more.

I think a Co-GM duo consisting of Madden and Solomon would be a good decision since they have done well until now, but have very different skill sets. Get a good President of Hockey Ops to overlook everything. Could work out. But even if they don't go that route, good choices can be made. They should take time with the decision since it's going to define the franchise for maybe the next decade.

A Hague offersheet could work since Anaheim isn't far from Vegas and he might consider the Ducks because of that. And it should be relatively easy to "force" Vegas to not match an offer. If Lindholm is traded, Hague would be a good option to fill the hole at LD imo.

It would absolutely break my heart to see Hampus and Ricky on different teams. They're one of my favorite bromances in the league. But if one walks / is traded and the other re-signs, that's just the way it is. It might be the best thing to re-sign Hampus and trade Ricky.
