Description

I am assuming that Carolina cannot afford Nino.
The flames need to get rid of Lucic´s contract (if Milan would waive) because of extensions and Välimäki´s stock is low right now, might benefit from a change of scenery- could that be worth a first?.
Tatar would probably get traded 2021/22 at the deadline and the Carolina-trade would happen before the draft so Nino doesn´t hit free agency.

Siegenthaler has become Devs best defenseman, they are not moving him and definitely not for that! He cost them a third and has only increased his value so this is off.
The Devils need scoring, not lefty D men sent with a cap dump

I don't think the Oilers can trade that draft pick, its encumbered by conditions in the Duncan Keith deal.

With Trocheck likely not being resigned, Nino probably resigns at about a 4x4 deal. If Trocheck were to be resigned, at that point Nino would more than likely have to go. Plus, Nino at the very least draws a 2nd round pick, and he can definitely draw a first. Canes likely won’t be shopping Nino either.
