Well. Graves isnt worth a 1st and broberg, he was traded for a 2nd rounder a few months ago. That is close to what Chychrun is going to cost.

If I was an Oilers fan I could see the logic behind the Islanders and Habs trades but that NJ deal is awful for Edmonton, wouldn't trade that 1st or Broberg for Graves.

Excellent because Jersey can do our '23 1st and a D prospect for Chychrun. Let's go get that Fitz!
ALso, I agree with you, Graves was a good get but not for that. That's said if they could resign him modestly and had Chyc we would be set!
