Description
Still pursuing the Faksa idea.....technically it's almost a three-way trade. The one non-Avs fan who commented previously thought Dallas would require a 2nd for Faksa, and Avs fans seem to think Jost is worth more than I got from Vancouver. Assumes the Avs will have easily accrued the extra cap space by the time the trade is made.

Stars accept. Vancouver pick, Colorado pick, doesn't matter

I’m not sure Vancouver has a need for Jost, and would give up a 2nd for him. Maybe they would’ve considered it this last offseason before they had Dickinson, but Jost seems fairly similar…not very good at face offs and gets pushed to the wing often. Plus, he plays in bottom 6 which we have lots of players we can fill internally.

Fair points. My main reason for trading Jost to VAN is always a slightly sentimental one, but tbh it doesn't have to be the Canucks, and pretty sure they could get a second from another team.

Yeah I remember during the off-season I wanted Benning to go after Jost
