That's at least 5 players expecting a significant payday, and they have $1mil in space to do it.
Not gonna happen without shedding cap.

They're gonna need to get rid of Dadonov and/or Karlsson, and possibly one of their defensemen (maybe Martinez) if they plan on re-signing a good portion of their guys. I can see them letting the UFAs go and bringing up some more young guys, but they need to find a way to re-sign some RFAs like Hague and Roy if they want to stay competitive.

trade dadonov and brossoit, hope thompson is ready, which frees up ~6.75M in cap space
that should be enough to sign hague and roy at least, and then myabe get some depth

Gotta let Smith walk. Janmark obviously also as well. The FO doesn’t like not having a quality backup G, but gotta get Brossoit outta there and let Thompson or some other minimum fill in there. Martinez needs to go. Love him there but can’t regulate Whitecloud and Hague/McNabb to third pair when you’re up against the cap. Coghlan can be 6th D just fine. Then hopefully Hague AAV is $3M, Roy $2.4M. Howden at $900K. If Kolesar will take 800K cool, or just replace him with a minimum guy. Sign Hutton as final depth or any minimum salary.
