Theres basically nothing reasonable the knights could do to get boston to take dadonov.

Building something interesting to the jets for Scheifele could be a good C-upgrade for Key players like: Karlsson, Martinez, 2023 1st.
I understand that Jets would need to clean some players as well to make space like Dandonov, Dillon, DeMelo, TDL trade Copp for a late 1st ++

Going to be interesting, because the teams that would want to add firepower are typically already against the cap.

Marchy has an 8-team no trade list
WK has a 10 team
Dadonov 10 team
Martinez 16 team

Stephenson is the best bang for the buck, I can't see them moving him for cap room.

That would make my prediction Reilly Smith. Maybe he's sent off to a non-playoff team and they retain 50% and get a brokerage bonus. Hard to say what the value would be for Vegas in the middle of the season. In the offseason, Schmidt got them a 3rd. They moved Holden and a 3rd for Dadonov. My guess is that Smith can get a little more than those comps given the short contract/less real money moving around. Let's say Smith to Arizona for a pick in the 50-70 range, then Arizona retains and tries to get a pick in the 30-50 range. Idk is that reasonable? Not great for VGK but they won't have much leverage when the writing is on the wall (unless someone else hits LTIR).

Gardiner (LTIR) and Bokk for Dadonov?

Definitely pay a better price for Marchessault.

Probably not best option for making cap space but is an option for sure but I’m not sure I honestly see Jets moving scheifele, not this year anyways, and not for Karlsson, think they are going to want to go younger and probably a top defenseman and lower forward(2nd liner assuming) allowing PLD to take reins on the first line and build around him.

But I do believe every nhl player is available every year just depends on them getting the right return for him, but Vegas would have to get very creative with it and definitely lose top prospect along with it
