2017 1st Round Pick

Winnipeg gets a year of Lehtonen to help Helley and a pick to get Winnipeg boy Cody Glass at 7.
DAL
  1. Myers, Tyler
Additional Details:
Hitchcock gets the big veteran defenseman he got accustomed to in St.Louis to help the thin Dallas blue line become competetive again. Also gets one of their expensive goalies out.
2.
WPG
  1. Chabot, Thomas
Additional Details:
Add picks to balance but I think it's pretty fair seeing as it fills holes for both teams, pretty much elite offensive winger for elite defense prospect but because of Hall for Larsson Winnipeg adds pick because of defense value.

Good signings, I don't see how Lehtonen will help though, would be better to go after Bishop on July 1st, I just think there are better options out there. Can't see the Sens trading Chabot, especially in a prospect trade like that.

Yea I figure that Lehtonen is a dump for them and I think Dallas does anything to become competitive again while Benn/Seguin/Klingberg are in their primes. Winnipeg could for sure add to this tho.

We don't have the cap space to sign Bishop to term if we wanna sign Ehlers/Morrissey/Laine/Trouba which we have to do so we need short term fixes until Helley/Comrie are ready.
