Description
Not saying I would do these deals, but I was more looking at good fits and ways to start freeing up some cap space. Thought the asking prices are pretty fair.

Rangers would do it, but unlikely Vancouver would.

Just out of curiosity, why do you feel Motte is worth a 3rd?

Good depth, lots of speed, PK guy who could slide onto your 3rd line if needed, due to injuries. Plus I know the Pens have some injuries. But you may be right, probably more of a 4th or 4th with some conditions

I think this trade is ultimately closer to what it will really look like. I think Miller's realistic value is a 1st, 2nd and a prospect, but in this case Lundqvist would suffice for a 2nd, so I really don't think this will be far off.

The only x-factor is the Rangers would have to move out salary, so in a bubble this trade works, but there are more ramifications for the Rangers.

I think it’s a good package on Vancouvers side of things. If anything maybe a roster player, but like I said these are trades that I see just as fits, not deals I’d actually do
