don't like Spezza being the odd man out, but with saying that Dzingel is either getting claimed off waivers or going to minors so we wont have to worry about that

With Matthews. Tavares and Kampf playing 53 minutes a night, the "fourth " centre isn't used as much by the Leafs as some teams. Those seven minutes might be taking by Kerfoot in PK time. Kerfoot should be playing a bulk of his time on LW...barring any injuries to a centre.
Spezza is going to play...mostly right wing, but he has been effective as a RHD point guy on the PP also.
Leafs forwards have been playing with different players for the past two season, so it's probably nothing is set in stone.
Now the Dmen might be another issue. Lybushin is now here and should be playing, whatever are the pairings. And whoever is the 7th guy, shouldn't be sitting endlessly either, cause at some time the 7th and maybe even the 8th guy are going to have to play due to injuries.

I’ve been saying for months now I fee Matthews plays better with less skilled but more physical line mates. Tavares with both skilled wingers is something I’d love to see. I like this post. But agree with above that I’d rather see Spezza in.
