Quite possible. God knows they need some help in the net. That said the Oilers don't have 2nd/3rd this year as they're tied up in the Keith deal, and they're the ones who need help the most. They could still offer the 4th or next year's of course. The big question for the Leafs is how long is Campbell down for? They'd have to offer a second or go to '23 as well as they've nothing from round 3 downwards available.

I can see why the Avs would want Jeannot - and it's why Nashville likes him so much. And he's still trending upwards. Preds decline offer.

Jost isn't a good fit for the Devils.
They are trying to move middle six forwards out, not trading for them.
Not that Devils are currently looking to move McLeod to begin with.

Exactly my thinking too. I had a short discussion with another Preds fan and he considered a 2nd plus prospect was fair value so I went for a little overpay with the division rival thing and all. I think the value is good but like you I would still expect the Preds to decline as he's a guy any team should want to hold onto.
