Gaudreau will want more. Giving up that much in assets just to overpay Boeser sounds awful and why even both with him if you're going out to get a big UFA like Gaudreau? A 3rd line of Shango, Mercer and Holtz is such a waste. 2 very high ceiling players and one good player that'll get like 11 minutes of ice time per night...

Ditch the Boeser deal.
Give Gaudreau more money (around 9x6)
Ditch the Murray signing, because now we have Smith/Bahl/Okhotyuk to fill that spot, and Luke in 2023

Goaltending is the biggest question mark for next year, which is scary because it's by far our biggest issue this year.
But I don't think Bernier needs to get bought out. He'll either play or LTIRetire.

i agree but boeser is a great player, either way we’re left with boeser or zacha and smith.

he might accept 8.7 like i have there but he may need more $ to accept & id be willing to pay that for him

blackwood when fully healthy is a good #1 and if we can get a young backup like vanecek to back up i think we can be alright

also i couldn’t just delete bernier so i just put him in buyout, i think he’s gonna retire
