Description
It’s time to split scheifele and wheeler up for good

Ehlers is the 2nd most skilled offensive player on this roster behind Connor and Ehlers might be better it’s hard to say with the deployment he’s had through his career.

GET EHLERS ON THE TOP POWERPLAY he gets 30 seconds on average out there with our second group

Hellebuyck needs to be better he isn’t the reason we suck this year but he’s absolutely part of the problem you can’t let in 1-2 bad goals every single game

Comrie has been fine I have no issues with him at all so far I’ve thought he’s done a good enough job to even give him more starts

Schmidt hasn’t been good this year at all I don’t know what he adds to this team unless we were going to try him on the powerplay he’s an offensive defenceman that is a liability in his own end having him with Stanley is a joke.

I’m done giving Lowry a chance he’s not the right guy for this team we need to completely overhaul this coaching staff I don’t blame Chevy for believing in this roster I think theres enough talent on this team to be a real contender it’s the incompetence behind the bench that is starving this team.

I’ve been pretty patient this year but I’m fed up that’s my rant thanks for reading.

Need to be using Arizona on here for the dumping ground, it’s how they treat their actual franchise.

Schmidt has been fairly solid. He’s had some tough games but has been good overall. The biggest issue is depth at forward and coaching. Team needs to sell and retool. Time to explore a scheifele trade and make a leadership change.

Exactly this, I think Schmidt has been mostly good, 27 points in 54 games is nothing to complain about. I do think he should get more PP time, he's got a great shot.

Heard an interesting stat during a recent game, the Jets get something like 32% of their offense from the defense which is third in the league or something like that, can't remember exact numbers but it was close to that.

So with hearing that and looking at what the top 6 Jets forwards are doing which is all fairly decent numbers for top 6 players it proves my point that the Jets biggest issue is that they get next to nothing from lines three and four.

Getting a couple better 3rd liners would be HUGE for this team.

Disagree about Schmidt… that trade was horrendous from the beginning. His contract and cap hit make him easily tradable.
Agree about moving Scheifele and making a leadership change. I’d also move Wheeler to free up as much of his cap as possible. But this team needs more than depth forwards. We need an actual top 6 RHW and and actual top pairing RHD. Then we can worry about depth.
