You don't want Tyler Myers.

If you're a Sabres fan in your 20's you should know what happened to him after he won the Calder. Any one of the other guys you mentioned would be better options.

David Savard would make some sense.
Clearly not working in MTL, but his entire career he’s been a great shot suppression shut down D. Plus no trade protection and “reasonable” cap it at 3.5.

Could probably get him for a future 2 and maybe a depth prospect

Ellis would be #1 on my list. I just think Philly is going to want a lot cause they gave up a decent amount to get him. Maybe someone like R2 or Bjork could be swapped in as well.
